So my gtd started giving me a flashing glow plug light and is giving me this code on my cheap OBD2 reader I have. It’s intermittent at the moment but I have no boost when this comes on, normally when accelerating to get on the motorway. It goes away when I turn off the car and start it again. I’ve been doing some reading and most point towards the turbo actuator, is this something I can change or should I take it to a shop?

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere

It can be a number of things, they need to be checked before replacement. Could be a leak after turbocharger in hoses pipes or could be a problem on the turbo control side, vacuum supply.
Disconnecting vacuum line from turbo actuator with engine running, actuator should move.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I changed the wastegate actuator last night and it's running normal again.

Wastegated turbos are in general on petrol engines, yours is a vnt turbo.
Glad to hear the issue is resolved.
