Hello, everyone! I'm back with another question. A few days ago I've taken the valve cover off to take out the studs and upgrade to the rubber gasket and I've noticed some discolouration on my cam lobes and I'm not sure if it's a bad sign or not. The cam is nice and smooth to the touch so it only has the spots on it. I'll upload more pictures if needed. https://imgur.com/a/pPJ0KBD
Looks pretty typical. Never heard of a worn out cam on a gti, only on later 1.9 tdis that weren't getting serviced.
