I'm having an issue figuring out and finding what I need. I have an 02A Gearbox I'm mating to an ABF in my mk2, I have an 02J selector and cables on route. But need the components that bolt into the gearbox directly. Shift tower and related gearbox parts. Part numbers would be ideal, or if someone has what I'm after even better! I've attached a photo of the ends on the cables (hopefully uploads)
you have the late-late type with pins and clips, the early-late tower is the same except it has ball ends. if you get an early-late tower you can either swap the cable ends to match or get the later type shift weight and L shaped lever with pins and clip fitment. just watch out for the really early 02j towers those are basically the same as 02a
