Hi all. It’s time to replace the clutch on the Mk1 Scirocco and I was hoping I might get some direction from the wise folk of this establishment. 2.0 16v, Mk2 16v box, power is 215, torque 170. It’s a B-road blaster for weekend use only, I may do some hill climbing next year if cash allows. Will a standard clutch be best or is it worth upgrading to a paddle type? I see DriveTorque Stage three is paddle with springs, has anyone used one? Any help is much appreciate. Ta! Adam
you should be ok with standard sachs 16v kit, see here the torque rating is well over what you are putting out: https://www.clubgti.com/forums/inde...tting-a-sporting-kit-might-make-sense.237089/ Google/ebay/motorfactor search for sachs part number 3000.381.001
