It looks like the drive by wire pedal on the 1.8t conversion has gone faulty
Slight misfire but then would not rev.
Dragged car home and now intermittent.

Going to fit another pedal when we find one, but will it work with current ecu?

Does the pedal have to be an AUM one?

I'll see what part number is tonight, definitely saw it last night while in garage.

    @rubjonny can you use mk5 with a mk4 ecu?

Mk5 parts are digital and usually not compatible with the old PQ34 electrical architecture.

@v8rumble all wrapped and mrs Dodgy should take it to the post office tomorrow.

@Toyotec thinking about it it may be a mk7 pedal, but probably same, I have one in the shed I won it for a pound on ebay, always collecting bits!

    Yup also digital.
This is a common topic for PQ35 3.2 24v engines I prep ECUs for.

    Hi Toyotec
Does this mean it will not work?
If so what pedal am I looking for?
Don't know if you remember but you did the ecu for us and sent a video of it working in your project car

    A Mk4 is a PQ34 platform.
An AUM code is from a PQ34 platform as is the EA113 1.8T.
Therefore the pedal is compatible with your conversion.

The pedal that's coming to you is a mk4.
The later one I have I was wondering of compatibility, heard they were easier to mount.
