PVW still have a short clip of it on their site right click, save as

Tris/duff had some pics on his website showing some front corner damage and there was also a small clip of it in action somewhere.

I remember seeing that ages ago! Remeber reading it in the magazine about trying to get the car through the MOT by only having the bare essentials needed to keep it on the road.

It is really light and think the ABF was chucking out some healthy power.

It got T-Boned round Combe didnt it? I thought the owner was going to reshell everything, not sure what happened to it in the end. He also fitted Silver/black tiger stripes to it for Inters 2002 at Swindon.

I remember the Tiger Stripes - looked awesome [:D]

    (sounded pretty nuts too...)

IIRC it was Bullit who built the engine for it.

Engine got put in a caddy after steve crunched it....think it was some tuning company that ended up with it in their vehicle...bit of a waste IMO.

A pic I took back in at santa pod

You can just see the remains of it next to my mk1...why didn't I buy that cage at the time?[:^(]

yes a gr8 shame , but all of a benifit to me , as i bought quite a few parts off him ie- the rollcentre cage ( sorry vento mike), compomotive mo's, recaro pole position seat, sparco rallye steering wheel, stainless brake lines & valve, etc etc. all going on my mk1 which should be finnished in the summer. i'll have to get some pics up of the car.
the story i was told about how the accident happened was that, he had been sprinting the weekend before and increased the tire pressure in the rears, and forgot to check them before he went out on track, hence he spun off.

I seem to remember you actually...just! Was a while ago now. I think I only popped up to do a bit on mine...if I had got there earlier maybe my car would have been sporting some mo's!
