hi guys, just been quoted 110 to get timeing belt changed on my 16v. is this over the odds or quite reasonable???any thoughts / comments appreciated!!! cheers
Sounds about right for a garage. 30 gets you a belt and a tensioner pulley (recommended to do at the same time) from G&S. It might take a couple of hours, but it's easy enough to do it yourself. Just make sure the timing marks line up and the belt it correctly tensioned. Then pocket the 80 difference.
