Cheers :) The Clio is a good daily driver and doesn't use much fuel - they're definately very tinny, even compared to a Mk1 Golf, but it does nip along well for a basically stock car.

Shot some paint on the rear half of the interior the other day and just buffed it up yesterday. It's amazing what the rubbing compound does to shine up acrylic :p
I found it pretty hard getting an even finish with all the lumps and bumps and there's very little room to move sitting inside the car - plus I was paranoid about my clothes leaving sh1te on the paint. In the end, I lent through the tailgate for half the finish and sat in the car for the other. It's still not the best paint around, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist I s'pose [:$] The main issue was that I hit the gun cup into the perfectly smooth paint so left a dent in the un-dried paint [:^(] It's only the interior I guess, but I'll probably be anal and fix it up later anyway

What does everyone think of the colour anyway. I didn't like it much at first, but am loving it now... only problem is that it came stock on rusty old 1976 Datsuns

Just bought some new wheels [:D] They're old skool Intra "C" 15x7s in an et25, so will be a bit of an issue under the stock front arches I reckon [:s] [:^(] but I'm sure I'll sort it out. I really wanted 14s, but they're too small for 280mm brakes... I thought about 256mm ones but I think the car will be enough of a handful with the SEAT's engine under the hood. I'm going to lock at rigging up an ABS setup as I have a full SEAT brake setup spare to use :)

The wheels will arrive and about 10 days (when I pay for them!!) Here's a pic:

Not much progress on the bodywork lately as I've been doing some work on my brother's car at the moment. I've set a goal to have the car on the road by December as I don't want to cut corners. I've also picked up some Recaro seats, which'll be retrimmed in beige/creamy leather along with the doorcards. I'm about to make a floor for the rear deck aswell, which will feature my spare Intra wheel (I decided to w*** it up and buy 5 [:D] ).

I have to get a move on and paint the door sills so I can bolt the doors and hatch back on. No time til the bro's car is in fresh paint though. Poor '77 is getting neglected for about another week [:^(]
