can anyone tell me what would be the best carbs instead of the k jet and is it an easy conversion? does anyone know if you can buy a complete kit and what sort of price?

personally I don't see the point, yes you will make more power but that may be in a rev range you may not use all the time, its expensive too, carbs ,manifold, linkage system, throttle cable mod, fuel pump and low pressure regulator, air cleaner/s and a few jets to tune them......and then you have to keep them in tune.
Your choice of venturie size and idle/main jets is critical to driving pleasure .
K-jet in good condition is hard to beat , you turn the key and its starts every time and drives nice, this is hard to achieve in the long term with carbs.
