No updates for a while been busy on Bargates Rocco all year.

The only update is really that i need a bigger exhaust, the existing 2 1/4" stainless exhaust is too restrictive.

We ran Bargates rocco with the new gas setup @150bhp and got very bad blow bye due to the 2 1/2 " not letting the gases out, we fitted a 3" silencer straight off the manifold and the problem was cured.

first time we had seen the problem on a NASP but due to the extra power of the new nitrous set up !

    Any updates on this Brookster?

Did you ever do any experimenting with the curved spacers for the itb's?

Waiting to get my Mk1 back and gonna do a bit of measuring to see if the Badger5 curved set up will give me enough of an angle to clear the slam panel.

Failing that I have been onto BrianG about some custom casting and/or carbon work.

I spoke to the lads at Jenvey aswell about making curved rampipes for twin throttle and dth bodies but they didn't seem too interested unfortunately.

This has been an ongoing issue for years amd i have never seen a totally acceptable solution. Ess Three got about as far as anyone making a curved system but has not been on here for a while.

That ATpower set looks lovely. You sure 800?

That's what i was quoted when John still worked there , he's not there anymore so not sure. i'm still tempted though if we don't find a solution for the Jenvey's

I remember reading an article about that and for a normal car, the effect is miniscule. They put a large funnel on the front of the car and at 100mph, the difference wasn`t measurable, the pressures were too low.

Just looked for the article, I thought I`d saved it somewhere, but can`t find it. [:s]
