    cant remember....?
How have you hooked your oil level sender to trip your pressure switch light on your mk2 clocks?

Surely its only the oil pressure sender that will trip that light?

I haven't, I got a bit confused with level/pressure switches [:$], I am going for a T piece with both Mk2 pressure senders in to sort out the oil light/buzzer in the dash

    Hi Mart

I haven't fitted your box yet, I decided to leave the non LSD box in the car until it gives up and then fit the new box with LSD so I can really appreciate the difference too!

Good to meet you too, managed another 5 or 6 runs on Sunday and a Rolling road (261bhp) a bit better than Saturday as it has a working MAF now, but it needs a custom map to get the best out of it. As for the smoke... I topped it up with oil, so just hoping its overfilled slightly...

Its definitely the way forward

    Ok I'm back !

On the journey home from inters last year it came apparent I had blown the head gasket :o( first outing and the engine needs rebuilding. Obviously after 2 years in the building this really put a dampner on things! I put the Golf in the garage and that is where it's stayed untouched ever since.

    Since then I have started collecting the bits to rebuild the engine;

    Brute con rods
    Woosner pistons
    GENESIS 550 injectors
    Engine bearings
    Ported head
& Engine is out the car ready to be stripped down.

I will fit the LSD box hotgolf rebuilt for me when its all back together

I'll get pics up as soon as work starts

    Hey hows things

Good to see some updates in the thread. Sorry to hear about the headgasket going! It must of been a real disappointment after all the hard work.

I'll be starting my 20v conv soon, so will hopefully see you at Inters again this year.

Will keep an eye on the thread.
