256mm rear brembo brakes on a mk2....

    My advice is do not bother.

    Not worth upsetting the chassis and requiring different brake biasing front to rear on a MK2 FWD. Even with a VR6 12v or VR6 24v.
    I would be more focused on addressing the spring rates at the front to coupe with the extra weight of the EA390 engine.

    yes I think that's sound advice

    my first thoughts were to look at VR6 Corrado suspension and go from there

    VR6 Raddo suspension not necessary either, depending on what sort of drive comfort you are after.

    Spring rates, type of dampers to match and maybe some ARBs are the key to getting it as you want it.
    That depends on the state of the suspension bushes.

    Most likely new oe bushes with some H&R bars, nothing too firm and a standardish height (i'm too old, roads surfaces are terrible and I only drive on the road) ideally I'd like to use as many VAG parts as possible
