    EZ Block
    149mm rods AFT

    048103373A head from Audi
    Ported + valve job
    40mm inlet / 34mm exhaust valve
    37mm solid lifters
    12.5:1 CR

    Which cam would you choose? Powerband from 4000 to 8000 rpm.

    Hi Laim.
    You have not stated, for what use, what vehicle, what gearing, desired range of load and engine speed range for the strongest area of acceleration ( as opposed to "powerband").
    To avoid disappointment, I would strongly advise speaking to your engine builder and tuner to meet your expectations.

    For short track racing, VW Typ1 gearbox with 3.8, 2.28, 1.74 and 1.47 gears. 4.375 final.

    Engine builder is me, myself and i. Have some good grind cams for those engines but just wanted to have discussion and maybe some new ideas.

    Something around 312 degrees and 0.475 valve lift.

    Any experiences from Piper 528? 328 degrees and 'bout 14mm lift.
