there isn't a MAF on an ABF

    instead

MAP sensor built into the ECU is connect via vac hose to the intake manifold

so the airbox has an IAT sensor, not a MAF

The ones that fit in the same space is as already stated,
    Seat unit,
    [IMG]
    MK2 GTD unit,
    [IMG]
    Corrado VR6 unit.

Regarding placement of the IAT sensor for non Seat airboxes, this can be inserted on the top half of the airbox, next to the air duct.

in England I think it's easiest to get hold of the corrado VR6 airbox although this does require modification for use with an ABF engne. it fits the original positioning though in the engine bay

    Hi all,

Quick question on the de-cat pipe. - not sure i've got the right one.

The downpipe is standard Golf ABF, the de- cat pipe was sold as Ibiza ABF.

The de-cat pipe has a kink in it which isn't needed for my jetta. - if I bought a Golf ABF decat pipe would this be stright? or does that have a kink in it too?
