Hi. I'm going to be flowing a cylinder head from a MK3 golf 2.0 8v (AGG) next month and need to make an adaptor for the flowbench to accept the cylinder head. Basically, I don't have the cylinder head yet but need to get cracking with the mount. Does any know (or kindly measure) the distances between the head bolt holes? Just for the 2nd or 3rd cylinders as highlighted in the image. Many thanks for any help.

    Exactly the same as a mk1 or mk2 8v 1.8

Cool. I dont have either of those heads to measure either unfortunately so I still need the measurements. On a side note, will a mk1 8v head fit a 2.0 AGG block? Straight swap? Thanks

83.5mm centres across the narrow of the block, ie top to bottom in your pic.
88 mm centres on the length, ie left to right in your pic.
    121 approx diagonally.

I have been looking into using a Mk1 or Mk2 cylinder head after doing a bit of research. Some ppl are saying they flow better as there isn't much to be gained from porting a standard MK3 head. Is this true and does a MK1 head just fit to an AGG block no problem?

It does, my AGG block has a Digi head from a mk2. Heads are much the same in architecture aside from AGG having cutouts for the injectors in the intake ports, mk1/2 just have a hole .

Cool. So can I still use the original injectors?
