Hi there I'm really new to world of golfs and have gotten myself in over my head with my mk2 agu swap. Got this motor with the lion attached but have no idea what I'm doing wiring wise. Can someone tell me what all of these do? It is a mk4 20v turbo AGU with the tiptronic/auto trans.
Also images don't seem to be there so here's the links

    1 - fusebox coloured T6 & T10 plugs
2 - lambda and carbon canister
    3 - ecu earth
4-5 - not sure, guessing auto box related
    6 - starter motor
7 - not sure, guessing auto box related
    8 - altitude sensor
    9 & 10 - ignition amp
    11 - t14a plug

    first have a read here:

remove the tape covering the looms and remove all the wiring associated with the automatic gearbox ECU, that should start to simplify things a bit more (unless you want to keep the automatic gearbox?)

main issue with auto box is I'm not sure what if any shafts will suit, it depends on width and position of the diff.

Its easy for 5 speed 20v swaps since they use the 02J box which is basically thye same as the 02a installed in mk2 and mk3, and the stock shafts fit fine
