    Hi,

I discovered the ambient air sensor plug and wire hanging down below my front bumper. I didn't disconnect and have no idea where to plug it back in. Nothing in the Haynes manual to help me.

Also, does this sensor have any affect on the air con system? I've had a re gas and it still blows warm air. No leaks and compressor still working.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Paul

    Hello, Paul,

I don't think that sensor would affect the air conditioning, it has its own, attached on top of the engine ecu. Though this may be more a thermal cut-out.

The Mfa ambient sensor fits into a round hole in the r/h small plastic side grille.

    Thanks Dougie,

Air con is ice cold now after proper re gas from Kwik Fit! I know where to reattach the sensor now so will do it soon. It still reads temperature just fine but will still reattach.

    Cheers,

    Paul
