Audi 80 Throttle body upgrade for Mk1 Gti

    Im not aware about an A80 trottle body, but the Audi 100 2,2 L 5 Cyl trottle body was often used.iirc it bolt straight on but would need a little alloy welding and some grinding to get free flow into the plenum

    same size as the mk2 gti and 16v ones, so no need to spend out on the 'rare upgrade' stuff. need to grind out the inlet to port match it. whether its worth it well that comes down to the supporting mods really. plenty swear by it alongside audi upgrade (mk2 16v) wur swap

    Cheers for the replies. Will look into it. Thinning out the VAG stable and only have the the Mk3 and MK1 left. More time to tinker on them now.
    Who needs modern motoring....
