Hi All, Wonder if anyone can help, have a mk2 golf running an AUQ on cold start ups the car judders and engine rattles, if I try driving her on cold start up there is delayed throttle response and judders too. I have changed the coil pack, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the MAF (Bosch), New Spark plugs and still no improvements. Also the other thing when she is warm she’s not running to her full potential and is holding back any ideas?
1st step is get diagnostics plugged in. note fault codes, clear then drive to see what comes back. also while the issue is occurring, scan through all the ecu measuring blocks to see if any sensors are reading incorrectly
Hi rubjonny, Scanned and no codes coming up, check all Ecu measuring everything seem normal MAF reading fine, both o2 sensors reading fine not flagging up again which is strange the only thing I can think it might be is boost leak but would that cause the juddering on cold start?
hmm. have a good look at your coilpack harness next, prone to cracking up on the insulation. also how good is your conversion wiring loom?
