After doing some research I found that the GTIs after 2002 came with a 180BHP engine and six-speed gearbox as well as larger front brake rotors and ventilated rotors front and back. But after looking at a 2004 Golf GTI on Carsales, it said in the specs that it put out 150BHP and checking RedBook it also said that the 2004 Golf GTI put out 150BHP and came with a 5-speed gearbox. After looking at forums and other specification websites they all said that the 2004 Golf GTI put out 180BHP and came with a 6-speed gearbox. So I'm a bit confused, did Australia not get the 180BHP Golf or is RedBook and Carsales just wrong?
