Auto to manual conversion

    Well, not content with having one golf, I've just bought another mk2.
    1.6 driver, H plate, 2 owner car, ce2 electrics,
    But it's an automatic.
    Luckily got loads of bits collected with the S3 engine like pedal box, mk3 subframe, gearshift and clutch setup.
    Have a question, is the front crossmember on the auto same as a manual to take the front mount?
    Or do I need a different one.
    Also, not chassis related, if I fitted a mk3 speedo clock set, is the mk3 speedo loom a straight plug and play into the fusebox?
    Thanks, pick car up on Friday, so will get some pictures up over weekend.

    subframes all the same, no worries there.

    mk3 cluster loom plugs in, you need to run an ignition live to E/2 so they power up thats all
