WP_20170122_15_27_30_Pro.jpg Keeping the car for another year at least, after all new suspension and brembo discs and pads all round along with P7 tyres so it wants for nothing except more POWER! I took the plunge and spent 120 on a tuning gizmo from Racechip in Germany and I'm very impressed with the results. A lot more throttle responsive and if I want to I can spin the wheels in third so money well spent Imo!
I fitted a different front grill and some fog lights and I have a question please guys regarding wiring them to some power. I was hoping just to hook them up to the sidelights or main (low) beam. Can someone tell me which wires to use from the passenger side headlight harness.
    Many thanks!

Sorted, used a multimeter to find the correct wire.

You'll need a relay on those BP, unless they're LED. and you'll need a switch on them so they can be turned off even when other lights are on.

Yes mate they're LED along with the side light bulbs. I connected direct to the side light wire so they operate off the existing switch on the dash.

Already fitted LED sides mate. I could do with polishing the headlights lens, they have gone a bit hazy and yellowish! Any ideas on an easy refurb?

Hi everyone. A mate of mine recently bought a mk5 2.0 tdi golf and although it flies it occasionally drops into limp mode. Someone suggested replacing the map sensor but I can't find it anywhere! I'm not familiar with this engine so can anyone post a picture where it is located please?
    Many thanks, Mark.
