If you can get hold of some traffic film remover you won't go wrong. It's the best stuff I have used by far. Can't get it at halfords I don't think so would have to go to a valeting supplies company or nick some from the jam rolls down the road

Try Muc-Off Motorbike Cleaner - you can't leave it on too long though, or it attacks the paint.

i used a steam cleaner on mine some people use a jet wash but beware becuase electrics and water dont mix so if your not careful things will play up lol.

are degreasers in spray form? becuase ive been using, big industrial wipes from halfords that are okay but a spray on would be better.

    cheers.

keep the engine running whilst you do and no problems.

did my caddy the other week to get rid of all the mud that had built up during its farm life.

or get a normal tin of gunk, then borrow one of the spray tops from your mums cleaning cupboard:thumbup: nice cheap spray on device then.

Mr. Muscle oven cleaner and an old tooth brush are pretty good for it too.

pink swarfega oil and grease remover from halfords is vicious on grime. leave it to soak in for ten minutes then rinse and it'll be all squeaky clean.

Try Megs Super Degreaser - you can dilute it so excellent value for money.

The last time I was helping a mate on his old MG Midget he told me the best thing to use was Mr Mussel oven cleaner. I gave it a try when I spilt some oil on the engine (yes and the drive) and it worked well, if you can tag it the best I don’t know but seeing as how you may have some in the kitchen I would give it a shot.
