    Hi Bill

I have two Focus RS Mk1 Brembo calipers and need to install them on my Mk2 Golf. I run17 inches wheels that have the appropriate clearance.

    1) Can i run one piece 323x28 discs from Leon Cupra Mk1? I will drill extra hole to install them to 4x100.
    2) Do you make carrier brackets for these discs and calipers? Are the ones shown above?
    3) I already run 288 disc brakes and calipers from Mk4 Golf GTI. Are the carriers brackets from these brakes ok for the BREMBO calipers?

sorry to dump this up again but im new to brakes.
if i run 17" bbs rs
what is the biggest disc i can get on on ?
also what brake / calliper can i use from another car?
i understand i can get 305mm on 16" with the cupra R brakes but im really wanting to go on 17" as my golf mk2 -4x100 has alot og power

The 305mm Cupra brakes stop well and are easy to fit. You need 16 inch wheels - I ran mine with 16 inch Borbet Bs with spacers.

Get some good discs and pads with them and you are all set.

ive got hold of some porsche calipers and vag group adaptors with holes 94mm apart
    996.352.421
    996.352.422

ive been reading up and there seems to be a bit of confusion with these brakes.
supposedly there are 3 or 4 types of brakes with the same part number.
some have a smaller surface area on the piston and people say they are no good.

mine are on original paint - silver
they are 996 C4 rear callipers.

im now looking for a 4x100 disc to get on these callipers

mk2 20v 16" schmidt TH lines - willing to for for 17" if it helps with brakes clearance issues

ive been reading that these callipers usually use 312 discs on the porsche but im specially after a 4x100 fitment without redrilling
