Where is the cheapest place to get bucket seats from?

Looking at side mounted fibreglass ONLY

Demon Tweeks want a total of 220 for 1 OMP RS ST + mounts.

    Anyone know anywhere else?

yeah, you want side mounts, i hate those metal framed ones.

have you looked at cobra imola's...i've seen them for about 180 a piece somewhere, and they are extremely comfortable.

what belts you goin for? make sure you go for proper 4 point race style ones with aircraft buckle, not the silly clip in ones as they're awkward to get into. i'd also recommend 3 inch wide shoulder straps, 2inch ones are no where near as comfortable. my fav belts are the safety devices one (and they'd match your cage [:D] )

Not sure what belts i'm getting yet. Got a nice Sparco 3 point at the minute, but i need 4 for a bucket seat.

And i'll be getting seat belt clip ones, the aircraft style buckles are not road legal.

Since when have the aircraft buckles been illegal for road use they are far safer than seatbelt buckles and the fia approved three inch straps spread the weight better therefore less internal injuries in the event of a crash, i'm glad they were in my car when the mrs crashed they saved her life

Apparantley they are not fast enough release in the event of a fire/major crash -- so are not MOT passable...

I beleive they are fast enough... but pretty certain they are not MOT approved. If i find out different i will get them, if not it's gonna be some decent normal buckle 4 point ones...

simple, change them after the MOT...and its five secs you have to be out an F1 car (but you're allowed to take the wheel off these days - or you wouldn't be goin anywhere)...i've actually tried it, and succeded in gettin out an F1 car within five secs. and if the thing were on fire, you'd prob be a lot quicker.

aircraft style harnesses are not road legal.

push button seat-belt style ones are not FIA approved.

you want a seatbelt style one - they are perfectly safe, and personally i would advise 3 point harnesses since they are easiest to fit.

Keep your standard seat belt in for MOT purposes ;)

Drill through the sidemount and put a standard stalk on it.

Harnesses with spring release clips/eyelet bolts aren't road legal either ;)

Dunno if they have anything that floats your boat, but Peter Lloyd Rallying do a similar range of stuff to Demon Tweeks, but at more reasonable prices.
