can gateway soft coding I have all 0 no numbers, it was working before I swapped the clocks yesterday and then swapped them back now it doesn't work
Aye can be hit or a miss with some of this non genuine leads have had similar problems to be honest most people give up before the start with this stuff so you have done well to get this far keep working at it you'll get there in the end even if you need some help
not realy just more confused about soft coding ive fitted an EGT sensor now but not started engine yet so don't know what faults going to pop up
now showing p1388 dbw wont rev then splutter and drops onto 3 ,switch off and start runs fine on idle tried all sorts even swapped ecu and its the same
ok double check the part numbers on both, the diesel ones arte not right for petrol ecu. if they both check out this suggests the wiring is bad from pedal to ecu somewhere. quick google finds this: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/17796/P1388/005000 so check TPS side as well
well feel like a right nob after hours of changing bits over ive found it ,piece of kitchen towel stuck in the turbo ,yes I missed it somehow
