    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A full day's timed track action on the Curborough Sprint Course

Same format as last May's event and both of 2009 events:- threads
    here
    here and here

    - non-stop action all day
    - a relaxed meet
    - one car on track at a time (so no risk from others)
    - pure 'grass roots motorsport'

This is one of the only chances in the year for VAG drivers to compare times,
on track, on a dedicated VAG-only day, so it's a special event.

Well if he's in ^^ I'm in!! The 30 second 8 valve challenge is on!!

I know the car actually works at the minute too, provided I don't stuff it at the 'Ring.

Folks, just to mention the Racechrono 'App'. I used this in May's event, with an eBay GPS magnetic external antenna to pick up more satellites. Crispy helped set up the track coordinates in the morning, and I could switch it on, drive the track, return to paddock, press a couple of buttons and have my laptime before I'd stopped in the paddock. Amazing gadget.

Saves bothering Trev and Lucy whilst they're busy keeping the event moving ;) And saves walking

I can host the track file for anyone to download in due course, but worth grabbing an antenna in the meanwhile

To save anyone else translating. "What a shame. Wrong choice of car."

What if i just put VW badges on it for a day?

I can even use scene tape. I'll have my Team Dynamics by then too. Doh!! [:^(]

As ever, we will be there spectating though.
