Badger 5_o.jpg Badger 5_dyno.jpg Hi all I have spoken with Bill and he is happy for us to do another dyno day at badger5.
The event will on 7th october 2018.

    Location will be
    Badger 5 LTD located at:
    Unit 2b,
    Queen Annes Gate,
    Oldends Lane,
    Stonehouse
    GL10 2DG.

Badger 5 owns a Dastek 750bhp 2WD dyno. Some vehicles with Haldex operated AWD systems are welcome, as they can be disabled to 2WD.
If in doubt please send Bill, toyotec or myself a pm.

Bill, the owner and head of Badger 5 LTD, is well known on this forum and is a Club GTI Sponsor.
Some of the long time members and friends of the Club, would remember him from the early days of the 200ps Jetta with Badger 5 DTH throttles. Now more younger and folk with modern vehicles know and respect Bill's work in the field of 20vT big turbo conversions and of recent, 2.0 16v TFSI tuning.

While this is usually not my responsibility, as I have little to do with such events anymore, as I am other wise engaged and moved on, to avert disappointment, I have spoken to Bill about this and he needs 10 folks to make this worthwhile.

If I can get confirmation of at least 6 folks in addition to those on the list, the event will still be run.
I need confirmation of those names as of today, to allow me to get back to Bill.

Please be aware to make this happen, someone has the volenteer their time for free. It is a thankless task.
However I am stepping in to ensure you are not disappointed.

Please keep the names coming in.

    Eddie.

I had planned to come along, I'm back in the country on Thursday evening so had booked a day off on the Monday in anticipation, just not got round to filling in the sheet on here!!

Anyhow, all paid up, hopefully that will not put any one off and may spur a few more to commit who had been pondering :)

Be interesting to see Bill's set up.

Will bring my Mk2 road rally car along....although its on throttle bodies at the moment. c.200bhp at the crank. Std head and valves, but most other bits race/rally spec.

Just got to decide if I can be arsed to drive 100+ plus miles on a direct top gear with a 4.47FD!! (About 5k @ 70mph) or trailer it. Guess it depends if it's wet or dry.

    Anyhow, who else is going?

I will NOT cancel the event based on the rate folks paid up and will leave open to attract a few more folk.
Thanks to you all for paying up so far.
