What OBD2 reader or app do I need for a MK4 golf. I just need the light off dash after I replaced the front seat. I don't have cash to through about so cheaper the better.
Got 2 code readers, one off ebay, and one from euro car parts, think one was 18 quid, other £12, works with an 06 polo so would have thought would work with mk4 golf. Is there anyone with one near you, or a copy of vagcom? I also have a generic vagcom cable off ebay and vcds lite for my laptop which helped me no end with the lambda problem on the boys polo.

I also bunged a local bodyshop a tenner to clear the code on my a4 as the reader I had didn't work on the later a4.
U281 looks like one of mine, if you Google it they are about 16, and the red one I normally carry with me is the one on euro car parts
