Think I've got the bug now :)

Thanks to all the organisers and helpers, top day out
Great to see lots of faces from last time again and meet others for the first time. Look forward to next year!

Superb day; thanks to everyone involved in the organisation.
That has got to be the smoothest running Curborough event ever !!

This is one of the only chances in the year for VAG drivers to compare times,
on track, on a dedicated VAG-only day, so it's a special event.

An ideal event for all drivers of VAG cars of all types:

    Road, sprint or track machinery!

Small rate increase to cover event costs
    - your support appreciated!

    Club GTI Members: 45
    Non-Club GTI members: 55
    Extra drivers: 10

Helmets heavily encouraged for ALL drivers.
    'Own one: use it'.
Now compulsory for caged cars - no helmet, no track time.

    Passengers by exception
In the event of someone being allowed to perform a non-timed run with a passenger:
    * indemnity must be signed
    * both driver and passenger must wear a helmet

Curborough newbies, and regulars of old, it'll be great to see you along
    - thanks in advance of your support :)

Club GTI has run events at Curborough since the early 1990s
Run by the members, for the members.

Sorry to nitpick Trev or Chris, but think refund date needs to be amended to.... August 26?

Road-legal form link is also dead.

Regarding the entry form, they're all event dated and get deleted after each event in case participants unwittingly re-use them. I review the indemnities before the next event to ensure they're as robust as they can be, and there have been some changes to this one. Obviously the organisers put this event on selflessly for the members so must be defended against any sort of claims :)

I'm bang up for this; I've done a few events at Curby now and it doesn't seem to get boring!

My mk2 8v is a daily though so not really set up for the track, so am I aloud to bring my eunos instead? [:o)]

I'm all over this, it really is a fantastic day and anyone who is remotely interested in doing it should pay up and enjoy a fantastic day. I'll square my payment sometime early this week.

Hi, looks good and very good value. Can you double drive? How many runs do you typically get?

28 cars taking part last time, I got 11 runs in

I think Bones Jetta was double driven, but not 100% on that
  19. Admin Guest

Hi, you can double drive, you just need to pay a little extra for the additional driver (10 or so), the driving is one thing but the banter and talk in the paddock is second to known.
