As total really, I've got a caddy with a very tired AYQ engine in it and I'm struggling to find 'good' replacement locally. I've got the opportunity to buy an AGP from a golf, I know that it isn't good practice to do this but from what I can tell it's the same. It also close to home, which is handy cause without it I have no van.
    Cheers

caddy AYQ block is the same as later golf AGP, and the cylinder head is then same also so it should be a drop in fit, just may have to swap a couple bits n bobs over to make it work

the injectors are different, not sure if you would want to swap the old ones to keep the ecu/pump happy or if you keep the golf ones for an improvement in power? diesel isnt my area of expertise
