distributor help

    hello every one out there looking for help advice on sourcing identifying correct distributor motor for a mk 2 golf gti 8 valve PB engine but has a audi 80 conversion rebuild with a audi 2.0 3a engine block and i dont have reg number or chassis number to get correct distributor and the broken one is pieces as it was seized and had to come out with a crowbar and hammer and yes the part number is all broke off and cant be read so if anyone can say what distributor i should be looking for be great fantastic as cant find dizzy thanks

    cant remember if the bubble blocks have the same larger size hole as the MK3 2.0 8v block? if it does, you need a 2E dizzy, if not then a PB/PG dizzy is what you need

    I did a 3a conversion many years ago but used all Digi II parts including the head ,pretty sure I just swapped over all of it as didn't want to use K-jet as bought the longblock only , certain these motors still used the larger (base) diameter unit,try to keep it clean as you don't what crap in the crankcase . Replace with the Audi 80 3A one and you will be fine ,sorry but don't know the number ,cheers
