Didn't get any I'm afraid, guy was polishing it for over an hour.

If I'd taken a photo and the flash went off, the reflection could have blinded someone

There's another p6 shooting break in Haynes motor museum if I remember correctly.

Sorry, really didn't get an nsx picture, so here's one of a rabbit on a moped. 20220412_191634.jpg

Nice drive put this morning for a breakfast at a cafe up the road, turns out there was an American car club meet going on in the car park but they kindly let me park there.
Veggie breakfast later and a look around the meet and carried on driving cross country to our destination and then a great trip home through the winding Yorkshire countryside. Ace.

Did a bit of work on the polo bumper, and while the paint dried (wasn't watching it) dug one of the mk2 big bumpers out to have a good look at, iffy is one way to describe it.

    Painted by brush in smoothrite.

Scraped a load off the black parts, and sanded the flat bits of body colour, just need a bit of work on the recessed parts. 20220529_172425.jpg 20220529_182221.jpg

Few days off due after the Bank Holiday and should get the back one to matching stage, need rear tow cover and a front lower spoiler but have the indicators already, then the question of fog lights or vents?

    Road use? Fog lights
    Track use? Brake duct vents

Foglight are cheaper than the ducts at present, will see when closer to fitting them.

Have you a file for mk2 brake ducts?

At the risk of de-railing Daves thread, if someone could send me the section of bumper where the duct would go I'm sure a design can be knocked up.

If only I knew someone with one [:D]

I can take measurements on Wednesday evening, or Thursday if useful.

Measurements are not ideal as the initial designs never fits properly. The actual part is needed for tweaking the design, trial and error if you like. I made cooling ducts for the Porsche and it took a good five goes to get right.
I’m sure there must be scrap ones lying about that the relevant section can be cut from.

Today's haul, popped to see someone earlier, and managed to come home with another boot full of stuff, so much for clearing out eh?
2 pairs mk2 big bumper sills, set of arches, front bumper, rear screen and spoiler, and 3 door gutter trims.
Worked started on cleaning up bumper, and spoiler, plus got offered a jetta front complete, but unsure on that at the moment.
Front arches need some tlc, but think may be g60 ones.

Aye, one cracked, both have been chopped at front lower edge, but I'm going to rebuild with the old spats I have hopefully, but one is missing the small rub strip piece, but may know of another. Overall pleased with the finds, plus the gutter strip if they are of use to you Phil.

Not a great deal going on, but the guy in the unit next to work is an old school fabricator, so he's had a look at my rotting sunroof deflector flap, the end was pretty shot and had to close roof with a finger holding it where the clip and flap rod were parting company.
Not finished yet, but here's a couple of pics, which don't do it justice 20220622_124210.jpg 20220622_124140.jpg
