Does anyone know my car?

Hi everyone, thought I'd give this a go to see if there us anything sinister in my cars history or if there as any history at all as I was told the history was 'lost' when I bought it but the car is quite original and the reg is memorable if you have ever owned it/seen it.
Can anyone help me find some history for H10ELY? 5dr white Mk2 GTi 8v?

Are you from down south mate. I'm pretty sure I've seen your reg. plate about. Bognor maybe?

 

I seem to remember that plate was on a black golf though?

No I'm based in Yorkshire. The plate is definitely the original registration for my car according to HPI there is no other plate history so its alwats been on this one and no other plate has been put on at any point.

I'd just like to find some service history over and above the last 2 years I've had it obviously
