Drivers door lock latch is lose and keeps dropping so the door won't close have to pull the inside door release and lift it back up I assume there's a torsion spring in there that has broken are these available or known specifications?

The whole latch is £6 from Heritage which is remarkably cheap.

I had the same problem could not find just a spring Heritage sell a spring but not the correct one. I bought a replacement on ebay and swapped the lock mechanism very easy job.

Could only find latches for MK1 & 2 need mk 3
Couldn't find one on eBay front right drivers door with central locking but could just Rob the spring out of a non central locking Or is the latch removable from the rest of the assembly?

I am not familiar with the with the mk3 but cant see there would be a difference in the trigger return spring between central locking and the non central locking
