Hi was wondering if at all these cheapish obd readers on flea bay are any good. Seen some advertised as code readers and able to clear codes(reset) anyone had one. My Passat has a light on that I need to remove its a 55plate tdi b5.5 PD engine. Thanks.
Many of them are ****e intended for "OBD2" US products. You need a reader that can speak in KWP2000/1281 protocols of compatible with EOBD regulations for a start.
