    Well, I’ve just seen a thread @Jon Olds posted a while ago about his fire suppression and it’s reminded me. I was going to fit it into my car once finished as I didn’t want it to combust if I were to crash it or just a fire in general.

    Does anyone have any pictures of it fitted or anything like that?

    If you wouldn’t mind!

    Well tbh, it’s just as an incase, it’s not going to be raced, a few track days and weekend fun/road trips.

    So I don’t really know, I’ve not looked into it massively

    It's actually not as small as some, but it's incredibly good value.

    Thatnks Trisan that's way cheaper than the last 'new for 2021' system I bought and fitted. Will double check the specs and probably
    have one of those for car 2 along wide the bigger hand held.

    The blue book seems to have got less specific as the years have gone by. I have noticed this is a trend in all manners of life, even the humble highway code is now wishy washy............

    Stage rallying blue book extracts;
    48.10.5. Be equipped with fire extinguishers complying with K.3.1.4, and also all the relevant parts of K.3. The driver and co-driver must each be able to activate the extinguisher when normally seated with seat belts fastened.

    3.1.4. Large, Plumbed-In, for discharge into Engine compartment, plus Medium, Hand-Held for Driver or Rally Codriver use.

    Note 3.1.3 specifies that you must have four nozzles (later type post 2022)

    3.1.6. Permitted Extinguishants AFFF, ZERO 2000. (See Table 3.) Copies of the list of FIA/MSA approved plumbed systems are available from Motorsport UK. 3.2. Plumbed-In Systems (If AFFF they must be FIA/MSA homologated)

    Existing vehicles competing prior to 1st January 2019 may comply with the following until 1st January 2022. New build vehicles from 1st January 2019 must comply with Appendix 3.
