Hey guys, After replacing my worn out pistons and dust seals on my old 288 calipers (mounted with 288 carriers). Then finding them gradually worsen over time.. Started to get sticky and bores looked as if sponge Bob had them fitted to his mk2. I thought I would treat the car to some recon 280mm calipers. Found a couple of sets, the first set have a smaller opening than the second(I'm referring to where the pads and discs would sit, I have also measured for reference). This is going on a post 89 mk2 golf with bbs ra. So ideally not looking for the calipers to foul the alloys. Any help would be much appreciated
Smaller opening is probably 16v. I use those on my mk2, with the correct pads, on 280 carriers and discs and they don't foul my RAs.
