eeeeeek... that doesn't look grand in the slightest. Much of it salvageable?

argument with a vauxhaull at a junction. chassis legs are buggered so its a writeoff, but luckily pretty much everything bar the obvious is salvagable, it still drives fine too!

    RJ me loverly lad.[:^(]

You especially did not deserve that!

I would have hoped that the mighty, 'Marakatwoo', god of all things Mk2, would have protected his favourite son.

For you are surely the prophet, guru and teacher of all bits Mk2!

    thanks all!

i'll look at straightening it but its done a right number on the legs. trouble is its all bent sideways not inwards so i cant do the old chain + tree trichk, plus id always have the feeling in the back of my mind that it isnt right. its twisted enough that the passenger wing is scraping paint off the door so i have a feeling its not going to be that easy :(

That's a common thing due to the crossmember joining them together. A good shop will be able to do it easy. It just seems hard to people that don't do bodywork. It's amazing what can be done with some hydraulics and a bit of heat.

yeah wouldnt want to rip the car in half

trouble is by the time you've paid for all the jigging i could get a nicer shell! its not like this one is mint or anything, by a long way. photos hide a multitude of bodywork sins
