    Hi,

Looking to source new gear change cables for my 1991 Golf G60.

It should have a CBA code gearbox but at some time, an ASD from a Mk3 has been added.

Both are listed as using 1H0711265 and 1H0711266.

1H0711266 is available, at a price , but I can't find the other one.

Any help in sourcing new replacements would be welcome.

Company in Poland makes them both but shopping cart giving errors :(

Would I be right in assuming that 1H0711265 and 1H0711266 from a 1996 Golf with 1Z engine are the same as 1L0711265 and 1L0711266 from a 1996 Seat Toledo with a 1Z engine?

ok so original part numbers are Corrado 535711265B and 535711266, the 1H0 numbers have superseded them and are pinched from the MK3 Golf ABF/TDI/VR6. The 1L0 SEAT Toledo ABF/TDI numbers are specific to that car.

Since the Toledo is basically a MK2 Jetta if you can find the Toledo cables they should fit fine? I suspect the difference is down to the SEAT Toledo gearstick housing which is also Toledo specific, and I recon the reason is the Toledo runs the MK2 Golf tunnel (pretty sure?) not the syncro one which you have in the G60 and MK3 Golf

    Thanks for all your help.

My friend in Poland has just ordered 1H0711265 and 1H0711266 from www.linor.pl

The problem was they only accepted payment in Zloty and by selecting English on the website, the default payment was Euros which wasn't accepted by Dotpay.pl on checkout.
