    Hi All

I am having an issue with my 05 plate GT TD 140 BKD engine when i am driving normally the car is fine as soon as i give it a bit of the go pedal i get hesitation and i can feel the car pulling back and slight cloud from the back

i can hear the turbo when accelerating -
i don't have any engine lights on
    engine has done 147000 miles

could it be the egr - is the turbo a VV type or not

    thanks in advance

I plugged it in tonight to vcds with no faults present I took it out and it threw up an over boost error when accelerating code 16618 then went to limp mode until turned off and re started
    All fine again

so the hunt for the the issues with the golf are continuing is there a way of testing the pipes for a boost leak before i take the turbo off - i have also found a small hole in the radiator as i have been slowly leaking fluid just gets better lol

I think I have solved the hesitation problem the fuel filter had not been replaced in ages swapped it out and runs better now
