Some pictures of a work in progress Ibiza Cupra of Seans, in for GT30 turbo, external mvs tial, etc etc and mapping to suit.
Manifold is Badger5 manifold tailored to suit ibiza fitment and clearance of coolant pipes out of bulkhead.
Essentially the same spec as the mk2 golf is having done, but compact compressor housing used on this one as there is'nt room otherwise..

    Very nice work Bill,
i like where dump pipe is joining main exhaust, i think its way better then going into downpipe just after turbo causing turbulence and affecting gas flow at high revs

You dont think merging it at more of a sharp angle would of helped gas flow further?

I am having a go at making a manifold , downpipe and exhaust next week for a top mount GT3082R, i will pay close attention to angles W.G. tube exits collector and may make a full run for it seperate from main exhaust to maximise the flow as much as poss

Out of interest what size is screemer pipe 1.5" or 2"?

My manifold parts are ready :)

I think for the flow which will be coming out of the wastegate vs the 3" bore which is some 4 feet away downstream from turbine, flow joining flow wont effect anything...

38mm OD stainless tube on the external gate on mine

make sure you back purge the fittings when doing the root welds.. TIG I presume?
    good luck with it..
there's something very satisfying with welding tube into nice sweeps and bends.. sad git that I am

Nothing sad about it i say, must be very satisfying:thumbup:

I have no Tig welder so i will leave it to pros when it comes to welding, it will be back purged tho, my mate is doing it

I am gona construct it tho and well looking forward to it:)

I will use 47mm ID tube for W.G. exhaust for max flow, Cheers Bill keep up the great work

what size gate you running Sam? Mine on these builds are using the compact MVS Tial which is 38mm
my ibiza runs the bulkier 44mm tial

good luck with it.. you will deffo see some power gains from this.

44mm new Tail gate, water cooled option, slightly more compact design to but flows better then the old item

I need a good flowing gate as i will be running fair bit of nitrous and not planing to run mad boost so alot of waste gas will need a good free route to escape

I will start a thread on manifold build, may be usefull to some people

Here is the new gate and 50mm BOV

    What is the lead time?

I thought there were problems with supply and SEM only doing a batch when they had enough orders?

supply has outstripped demand yes, and tail end of last year they had run out, and were getting another cast qty together.. which was supposed to be early 2011

what spec would you be looking for, and I can confirm status
