GT30 build onto mk3 ibiza cupra

    It is for largeport AGU and possibly with a 75mm TB.

    Does the R32 TB fit this?

    SEM expect to have these back in stock in 2 weeks apparently.
    I can get it machined for R32 tbody - had a few done last year

    okies.. muchos work later...
    It runs! starts and idles sweet as... so 1st guess map is'nt too far off on injector sizing I dont think.

    just some more vems wiring to power up the egt and wideband gauge and we then go onto the dyno..

    I realized it was not a cheap job but the finished results speak for themselves. Is the spec disclosable?

    spec's no secret
    83mm Je pistons, 8.5:1 CR, JNL ported smallport head with full supertech valves/springs, badger5 tubular ex mani, with 38mm tial mvs, 3" downpipe to 2.5" exhaust (2 silencers and its still loud), SEM smallport inlet mani with 70mm tbody, 63mm charge pipework, forge large fmic (copy of mine), GT3071/0.6x hotside compact comp housing, 730cc injectors, DA-31 inline fuel pump with my adpator fittings, LCR in-tank pump (4bar), Apexi-AVC-R boost controller, VEMs wideband/EGT gauge, Forge Supersize DV, 80mm JR filter, 3" intake, battery relocated to boot, and some other stuff I have no doubt fogotten.

    all charge and exhaust mani/pipework is badger5 creation, ceramic coated ex mani, wrapped downpipe (DEI wrapepd.) Engine was built by JNL Racing not me.

    What would be the difference between this and a large port head. Does it sacrifice some top end power for more torque. Intrigued as did't Andy Waites first engine built by DS Motorsport also use the small port head?

    overall flow from this ported smallport is not the same as a largeport..
    and the timing/power it produces is in line with that

    we have a local s3 running a hybrid k04 on largeport head (thru circumstance) and its spool, torque is indistinguishable from a smallport...

    i hear/read often people quote largeport looses low end torque but I have'nt seen this to a level I can notice as yet
