Gti tailgate foil

Hi I need to replace the grey gti foil on the tailgate. Anyone got recommendations for a good supplier of these? Thanks Matt

 

Do you mean the badge ?
Got new brushed ally stickers from grafshed in Bristol, mail order. For my driver badges.
Or the window surround , there was a guy in Huddersfield I think makes them and sill stipple ones too.

I think he means the grey stripe that sits inside the swage line.

They are a paint to get hold of! you often see black ones coming up for sale, but they grey/silvers ones seem to be hard to get.
But it wouldnt take much to get some made or have a go yourself in some vinyl.

 

Its the tailgate foil which goes round the window. One arrived today. Its black. Are they meant to be black or dark grey (scraped mine off long ago).

Anyone sussed out how to stop them folding-up where the window rubber meets?
I assume it is temp change that causes it to "move"
