So my heater has completely packed up; not working on any setting. I have now checked all the fuses, replaced the motor, the resistor and the switch and have run out of ideas as to what to look at next.

Obviously really need to get this sorted driving daily at this time of year.

If anyone could suggest anything that would be much appreciated

Is it the fan or the actual heat ? If it's the fan, try an independent earth , I had one last year that the earth wire had a break in the loom.

on the fan switch the black/red wire is the ignition live from the fusebox, look in the harness for a thick brown as well this is the motor earth. both of these wires run to spade connections deeper in the loom, maybe they have come undone or had bodge repairs in the past

Check under the hood where the delta and outlet radiator plumbing keep running into the bulkhead since it's not unordinary to discover the warmer lattice detached out and out, or the VW non-return valves expelled or supplanted by strong bits of pipe embedded to transport the water forward and backward. Do note however, that the substitution update warmer lattice we offer here as of now has this valve implicit, so will require the evacuation and sidestep of the first valve in the motor narrows. there could be anything else anyway check this first.
