Hello hello, been a long time lurker but now I've finally treated myself to a 91 Oak Green 16v GTi I thought I'd do the right thing and sign up. My mum had an early mk2 GTi back in the day and I have fond memories of being driven around in it and had intended on finding a similar one - atlas grey with red/grey stripey seats - but had always wanted one of the 16vs with rainbow interior so.. here we are. Anybody else in West Yorkshire fancy a cuppa and a chat let me know. I'm also looking for some garage / storage space if you happen to have a barn or unit with some space going!

Finally sorted the Flickr image fun! As you can see, bumpers need re-blacking - got some Gtechniq C4 for that once the sky stops leaking...
