High Level Brake Lamp

    Hi folks,

    I've just fitted a Passat high level brake lights to my Colour Concept (after creating wedges for the rear screen profile).

    Does anyone know how to get the cable to the rear lamp cluster so it's hidden? Do I have to take off parcel shelf supports?? Also, am I right in saying I put one cable to the brake light feed and earth the other one to the card body??

    yeah I would say so, just so you can pull the C pillar trims off if nothing else. on the back of the lamp bulb holders you'll find several empty plugs/spades which you can use to tap into all the rear light feeds. whatever you do dont mess with the wiring

    Hi Rub,

    just a quick post to say thanks for the advice. I’ve only just got round to fitting the brake lamp. Followed your advice and it’s works great.
