Hi guys, I am about to spray the underside and arches of my 3dr mk2 gti with tintable raptor. I have about 5.5 litre, will this be enough? Thanks

I'd say more than enough. I haven't used Raptor, but i have used a similar product, and was amazed how far it went.

I used raptor before it got the raptor badge and 4L just about did the underside. I’ll have to get more for the arches. I was hoping it would do it all but sadly not. No where near.

So 5.5 litres should just do it or would it be more like 6?

I would have thought 5.5 would be enough, it depends how liberal you are with it. I went quite thick to get the desired look.

Cool, did you raptor straight over seam sealer (if you used seam sealer that is)?

4 bottles were enough to do the underside and rear arches on mine. You'd need another 1 or 2 to do the front arches too.

You can raptor over the seam sealer although I think it's worth using epoxy underneath.

Cheers guys, I used 5 litres and was able to get good coverage all over with an extra coat on the arches and key areas. I then gave a coat of Pearly grey LA7U basecoat and a nice thick coat of clear on top. Looks great
