    Hi everyone,
I’m new on here and am part way through a major repair on my mk2 gti and I’m just wondering if the front hub nuts were a different thread on the car cos they are really tight!
I don’t know an awful lot about these cars so any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks Andy

F in tight usually. Both RH thread. Buy a 30mm 1/2" drive six point deep socket and 30" 1/2" breaker bar. Wedge a decent sized flat blade down the middle of
the disc cooling holes against the caliper bracket.
All my opinion, for what its worth..... If it ends in tears don't blame me.

As above  or remove centre caps on wheels if possible and have a helper press that middle pedal really hard while you crack the nuts
