Any Genre, any age, if you lost your entire music collection and you could only afford to buy one album again, what would you get? With a brief description and reason. I've got 10 to spend on itunes that was given to me so i fancy trying something different, or if all else fails i'll buy Foo Fighters Greatest Hits
Would probably have to be It's what got me into trance a while ago, couldn't tell you how many times i've listened to it. Followed closely by
aye love that above and beyond album. Although I listen to 99% dance music, I like new music, fresh mixes all the time. One album for me, which is a bit of a cheat would be queen trilogy of greates hits
Tough question... I have a massively varied and eclectic `record` collection; heavy metal, rock, blues, jazz, trance, dance, electro, reggae, hip-hop, R&B... Just about every genre you can think off (bar Classical...), and dip in and out of each depending on my mood. The one constant however, and the album I keep coming back to time and again is Dr. Dre 2001... Seminal album, and still fresh today. Lead the way for every hip-hop artist since. My original CD refuses to play any more (worn out? ), so had to buy it again, and it`s also on my iPhone.
I listen to just about every genre going but i'm always playing my Smiths greatest hits album love it so i'd say that and no i'm not depressed or want to slit my wrist
Endtroducing is definitely up there but how about Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk or Lets Get Free by Dead Prez if you like hip hop.
For me it has to be pink floyd-dark side of the moon Not the best album for driving but just couldn't live with out it.
Lots of interesting suggestions! I've got 2001 somewhere already. May have to put the rest in a hat and pick one
The Beatles - Abbey Road. Quite possibly the best album. Ever. Got a few copies of it including an original Vinyl copy I bought in a charity shop. I've listened to that all of once...
J5 'Power in Numbers', in particular 'A Day At The Races' - Quality driving track Quality Control is also a wicked album alongside the J5 LP. Dre 2001 has gotta be up there though
